I'm a little late in getting my act together for this new year. I took a break for about 6 weeks after having some surgery in early December. The last couple of months have been interesting, to say the least, but I feel like I’m ready to get back on track and focus on a new year ahead. It can be really hard to get focus back after a break and establish a routine again. I am definitely a person of routine, without it, I can become super unmotivated! As much self-care is incredibly important to me and is generally just part of my daily life, I can get a little TOO routined and need to shake it up now and again.

This calendar is far more than just dates. It includes a 'focus' thought for each month and easy, practical weekly ideas to incorporate self-care throughout your life. The ideas (or challenges if you will) cover all aspects of life from personal care to relationships, home life, as well as the physical and spiritual. Do each weekly challenge, or pick one to do each month. The idea of this calendar is to have a visual reminder including great, easy ideas to make implementing self-care manageable and sustainable.
